Reporting & Revenue Officer

The Reporting & Revenue Officer is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the financial and operational performance of COMPANY’s real estate portfolio from a revenue and occupancy perspective. The role ensures accurate tracking of rental income, supports financial forecasting, monitors receivables, and maintains data integrity within the property management system. This position supports decision-making through timely reporting, performance analysis, and identification of revenue optimization opportunities.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

Revenue Monitoring & Collection Analysis:
o Compile and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly rental collection reports.
o Track actual revenue against approved budgets, targets and occupancy levels.
o Monitor collection trends, identify variances and performance gaps.
o Maintain accurate records of revenue-related data for reporting purposes.
o Track key performance indicators such as occupancy rate, collection rate, and revenue variance.

Receivables Management & Ageing Control:
o Monitor the ageing report to identify overdue or delinquent accounts.
o Coordinate with tenants and internal teams to follow up on outstanding payments.
o Liaise with the Legal Department for cases requiring escalation or recovery actions.
o Track collection performance and recovery status of outstanding receivables.
o Maintain records of collection efforts and recovery actions.
Financial Analysis & Performance Reporting:
o Calculate and forecast Net Operating Income (NOI) for Mesaimeer City.
o Prepare financial analysis reports to support budgeting and financial planning.
o Analyze performance of different asset classes, buildings, or unit types.
o Identify underperforming assets and provide insights for improvement.
o Support management in strategic decision-making through data-driven reporting.

Data Integrity & System Management (PMS):
o Validate the accuracy of leasing and revenue data within the Property Management System (PMS).
o Ensure consistency between system records, leasing data and financial reports.
o Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with relevant departments.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date data to support reporting, forecasting and analysis.
o Support system improvements related to reporting and data management.

Reporting, Deposits & Audit Support:
o Prepare occupancy, performance, and revenue reports highlighting trends and underperforming areas.
o Manage security deposit balances and coordinate refund processes with Finance and PM teams.
o Ensure all reported financial data is properly documented, traceable and supported.
o Support internal and external audits by providing required data, reports and documentation.
o Maintain organized records to ensure compliance with audit and reporting standards.

Any other task assigned by the direct superior.

Skills:

Technical / Functional Skills:

Education & Professional Certificates

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.

Certificates: Preferred Certifications:
Financial analysis or accounting certifications (e.g., CMA, ACCA – advantage)
Real estate or property management certification

Computer Literacy:

Computer literate.
Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and property management systems (PMS).

Languages:

English fluent.
Arabic is preferred.

Experience

5 - 8 years of experience in financial reporting, revenue analysis, or property management finance.
Experience in real estate or property management environments is preferred.
Experience working with PMS systems and financial reporting tools is an advantage.
