Senior Accountant

Summary

This position will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial accounting, cost management and forecasting & budgeting, and financial reporting and analysis. The Senior Accountant must possess a solid knowledge of accounting and IFRS reporting. The candidate must display integrity and have a desire for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Budgeting: Manage, prepare, and execute planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles, transactions and processes.
• Cost Management and Effectiveness: Review, assess, update, and maintain effective costing standards, necessary controls, related reporting and analysis. In addition to that, health insurance records.
• Financial Accounting and General Ledger: Manage, prepare, and execute financial closing and reporting processes, data analysis, and preparation of private and general-purpose reports periodic and ad-hoc reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or related field
• Excellent technical accounting skills
• Experience with financial and IFRS reporting
• Experience with IPSAS is a plus
• Experience in healthcare and government sectors
• Experience in using Oracle ERP
• Fluent in both Arabic and English languages
